What to Expect

Camping

Sullstice is Catskills camping at its best! Arrive as early as Thursday evening and stay through Sunday.

While we have a fully equipped house that we've spent way too much time renovating (and operate as a full-time Airbnb), we're asking everyone to camp and embrace the great outdoors.

Tent Camping

Plenty of space in Tent City! Electricity and lights are available in big, open, mostly flat areas—spots are first-come, first-served. Set up your home away from home—air mattresses, string lights, a welcoming front porch vibe… Here's what you'll need:

Woods Camping

Prefer more privacy or want to rough it a little? There are no official sites in the woods, but you're welcome to set up anywhere on our 100 acres. Just keep in mind:

Vans & RVs

Want a little more comfort? Welcome to RV Town. Renting an RV can be surprisingly affordable, especially if you split it with others. Check out Outdoorsy—it's like Airbnb but for RVs. Some will even deliver and set up your RV before you arrive!

If it's hot and you plan to run AC, you'll need a generator—house power wasn't reliable for RVs last year.

If you're thinking about an RV, let me know. I can help you find one to rent (including a generator), be there for setup, and make sure you get a good spot.

Bathrooms

Our house is on a septic system and leach field. That means, unfortunately, with the number of people coming, house bathrooms are off-limits. We'll have outdoor toilets, and you're welcome to use our incredible outdoor shower!

Dogs

Dogs are welcome, but they MUST be leashed or tethered at all times! Our dog, Finley, would love to know in advance if she'll be meeting any furry friends, so please let us know in your RSVP.

Food & Drink

Group Meals

For lunch and dinner, we'll have hot meals. I'm looking into professional catering this year, which is why RSVP headcounts are so important.

Breakfast

Bagels and coffee will be ready in the mornings—help yourself!

Grill & Kitchen Access

We have a propane grill and a charcoal Weber kettle. Feel free to use them, but keep in mind they may be needed for group meals. If you're bringing your own grill, set it up where you like!

Aside from mountain pies and s'mores, please avoid cooking over bonfires.

Drinks

BYO drinks. We'll have a big cooler filled with ice where you can keep them cold.

Trash

Let's keep our footprint small—plastics are ruining the world. We'll have trash and recycling bins available, but please LEAVE NO TRACE on the property!

Schedule

Thursday

Come early, set up camp, settle in, and soak up the fresh air. Hang a hammock, take a hike, read a book, or just relax with friends. If you're feeling helpful, lend a hand splitting wood and building the stage.

The fun kicks off! Enjoy lawn games during the day, live music and dancing in the evening, and a bonfire at night.

Leave no trace! This place is our paradise—please help keep it that way. Clean up after yourself, say your goodbyes, and we'll see you next year!
